The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that its Vice President II, Mr. Prince Saquee, has been officially appointed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to serve as Match Commissioner in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Preliminary Competition African Zone – Play-Off Tournament scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco.
Mr. Saquee will supervise two key fixtures in the tournament, beginning with the Nigeria vs. Gabon encounter on Wednesday, 13 November 2025, at the C.S. Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium, kicking off at 17:00 hrs (16:00 GMT). He is also set to oversee the Final Match between the Winners of Semifinal 1 and Semifinal 2 on Sunday, 16 November 2025, at the same venue, starting at 20:00 hrs (19:00 GMT).
FIFA’s selection of Mr. Saquee for this high-profile assignment underscores his proven competence, professionalism, and integrity as a football administrator.
