East End Lions have appointed former Kamboi Eagles coach Francis Zappa Koroma as their new head coach on three and half year contract.
Zappa said he is delighted to coach his former club. He said “He is a great honour to be appointed head coach of East End Lions, and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead,” Zappa Koroma said. “I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
He continued: “It was a difficult decision to leave Kamboi Eagles after an incredible year, and I can assure East End Lions fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this club and the coming season to a successful conclusion.” he said. I played for this great club and with the support of the cureent executive we can acheived success and this club had achieve successes since it inception”.
Meanwhile, Zainu Deen Karim has also been appointed as the Team Manager and Alhassan Idriss Bangura as the new Head of Media and Communications.
