The Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI), in collaboration with the Office of National Security (ONS), has brought together Sierra Leone’s top security agencies to design a sector-wide digital capacity program.
Participating agencies include the Police, RSLAF, Fire Force, Immigration, Intelligence, NDMA, Defence, Internal Affairs, and the Office of the President.
The program aims to strengthen resilience in key areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, ICT, and data management to address modern security challenges effectively.

Targeting 500 personnel by mid-October 2025, the training will primarily take place at the Police Training School, with the Military Training School prepared to host additional participants if needed.
This initiative represents a significant step in advancing Sierra Leone’s National Digital Transformation Strategy, ensuring that security forces are equipped with the digital skills required to defend the nation and respond efficiently to emerging threats.
