LUNGI, 15, JUNE, 2021: The Hon. Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Jonathan Titus-Williams on Tuesday, 15th June.2021 received a German Delegation headed by the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Gerd Muller at the Freetown International Airport in Lungi.
Dr. Muller who is accompanied by three Members of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) representing different political parties, are on a two-day official visit to Sierra Leone which primarily focuses on health care, especially the fight against the pandemics.
The delegation will also visit few government institutions, health care facilities and NGOs projects sites.
German bilateral Cooperation with Sierra Leone is engaged in varieties of areas such as employment promotion, construction of rural infrastructure , epidemic prevention, reproductive health, renewable energy as well as resource governance.
