A concerned Sierra Leonean has taken to social media to express frustration over what he describes as poor maintenance at the garden area and entrance of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown, despite the venue hosting major events and festivals each year.

In a Facebook post that has attracted public attention, the citizen urged the management of the popular hotel to improve the cleanliness and general condition of its outdoor space.

“Duya una try fix Radisson Blu garden, we taya wit di dust, an una try get lek for gate. Wit all di moni from all den festival every year, di place still dortie,” he wrote, expressing dissatisfaction over persistent dust, lack of proper landscaping, and the condition of the gate area.

The post reflects growing public expectations for improved standards at one of Freetown’s most frequently used locations for concerts, festivals, and high-profile social events. Many social media users echoed similar sentiments, calling for better maintenance given the hotel’s prominence and the revenue generated from large annual events.

As of now, the management of Radisson Blu has not issued any public response to the concerns raised.
