Chief Imam of Timbo Community in Makeni has been Announced Dead on Friday 21st June, 2024.

Family sources confirmed the death of the Chief Imam of the Timbo community in Makeni, Alhaji Mohamed Alieu Jalloh.

He passed away at the 34 Military Hospital, Wilberforce in Freetown at around 10pm.

The late Alhaji Mohamed Alieu Jalloh was part of the Sierra Leone contingent of Hajj pilgrims in 2023. That was his second Hajj.

Alhaji Mohamed Alieu Jalloh would be remembered for his dedication to spreading Islam in Makeni and the Northern region in general.
