After a considerable absence in continental football, the Killers returned with a battle against ASC JARAAF from Senegal in the first preliminary round of the Total Energies CAF Confederation Cup.
CAF has tasked Somalia’s Ahmed Hassan Hussein Ahmed to officiate the first leg of the 2024/25 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup preliminary qualifier involving East End Lions and Association Sportif de Culturale Jaraaf of Senegal.
Ahmed Hassan Hussein Ahmed will be leading the quartet, to be assisted by match officials also from Somalia with Ivan Gartor Brown from Liberia designated to serve as Match Commissioner.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Southern Arena Stadium in Bo City on Sunday, August 18th, 2024, 1600GMT.
The return leg fixture has been scheduled to take place on the 25th August 2024 at the Stade Lat Dior in Thies, Senegal, with Referee Sadou Ali Brahamou heading a quartet of officials from Niger. The Match Commissioner for the game is Luis Manuel Caravalho Semedo from Cape Verde.
Meanwhile, the winner of this tie will play against UTS or RC ABIDJAN in the second preliminary round to battle for a place in the group stage.
