Burkina Faso have held engagement with Côte d’Ivoire authorities to secure Stade de la Paix in Bouaké as their home venue .
In 2022, CAF banned 23 Stadiums across Africa from hosting type A matches including Burkina’s Faso . 4 August 1983 Stadium after failing to meet required standards.
The stadium is in Bouaké, the second largest city in Côte d’Ivoire. The venue was among the six facilities used for the just concluded 2023 AFCON competition.
Stade de la paix has an athletics track, which is surrounded by single-tier covered stands capable of holding 40,000 spectators after the expansion. The stands are fitted with seats in the colors of the national flag.
The main stand with boxes and backup area is located on the west side. From the outside, the stands are sheltered by a decorative façade and there are numerous parking spaces around the venue.
