The Office of the President has officially announced a series of new appointments made by His Excellency, Brigadier General (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, subject to parliamentary approval where applicable.
In a public notice issued on Thursday, the government informed the general public of the President’s decision to fill several key public service positions aimed at strengthening governance and accountability.
The appointments are as follows:
- Mr. Emmanuel Sahr Tondoneh – Appointed as Ombudsman
- Mr. James E. Fofana – Appointed as Secretary, Office of the Ombudsman
- Mr. Kanja Ibrahim Sesay – Appointed as Secretary, National Assets and Government’s Property
The appointees will officially assume office upon securing the necessary approval from Parliament.
