A power outage at the Bintumani International Conference Centre disrupted the much-anticipated presidential town hall meeting. The event, which aimed to facilitate direct interaction between President Bio and the citizens, was temporarily halted when the entire venue went dark while President Bio was answering questions from the Minister of Information.
Although the lights were quickly restored, it took nearly 15 minutes for the PA system to resume operation. The unexpected interruption caused a brief delay in the proceedings, but the town hall meeting resumed as scheduled.
The incident highlighted the challenges of maintaining seamless communication in large public events. Despite the disruption, President Bio and the attendees continued the session, addressing key issues and concerns from the public.
