Crawford Tanats Hall, Denmark Road, SES,9EP in the United Kingdom will host members and supporters of the opposition All People’s Congress (APC), party on 21st November, 2025, in solidarity with a strong party woman who is emboldened to better organize the party for victory in the forthcoming elections.
Leah Fatmatta Suma has stood out amongst other prominent party members with her international experiences and networks to serve the APC as part and parcel of the party executives determined for 2028. ” I am going to declare my intension to aspire for the National Organizing Secretary of our great “kombra” party to formidably organize the party through its structures”, she said during a recent interview on Wi Yard Online TV. She pointed out that she has learned a lot of goodies she is prepared to impact into the party to create a difference much better than how the party was organized leading to the 2023 elections, she emphasized.
The UK launching and declaration event is going to be her first politically charged programme to be followed by series of other events including in Sierra Leone where she will visit wide range of party members and supporters to express the need for better organization if the party to teach the SLPP a lesson in the 2028 elections.
As an International Consultant based in the UK, Leah, who has served the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party in diverse ways, since 2012, has strongly emerged to serve her party as she understands the demand of the role as National Organizing Secretary, promising to bring the experience, networks and integrity required to strengthen the APC party for victory come the next elections
Leah Suma prioritizes unity and strategic preparation, acting as a central hub to foster collaboration amongst aspirants and members and supporters of the party. Leah Suma’s life has been shaped by faith, driven by service and defined by resilience. With her blend of entrepreneurial successes, nationally and internationally, grassroots engagement and political commitment, she stands more than ready to serve as National Organizing Secretary to help unite, organize and strategize to win the 2028 elections.
She informed this medium that she will strengthen grassroots structures, train and coordinate all polling committees and agents to ensure smooth flow of information during the elections so there will be no room for manipulated figures against the party. She explained that resource mobilization backed by her track record in terms of accountability and transparency, she will ensure resources reach field agents promptly and equitably. She has been constantly supportive to the party in terms of fundraising activities in the UK.
During the 2012 elections, she led the tally unit in Kambia where she trained polling agents, staff and volunteers,she worked on party manifestos , supported convention activities in 2013,2017 and 2023. In the 2023 elections, she was instrumental at the party’s national tally centre in Freetown providing critical resources. Tragically, during the violent attrack at the party headquarters 2023 that claimed the precious life of Matron Mahawa, Madam Leah narrowly escaped death to the UK with the party deeply in her heart.
In 2015, as an International Consultant, she joined President Koroma’s Presidential Delivery Team as the National District Coordinator working closely with 149 Paramount Chiefs, all Section Chiefs, 54 Ministries, Department and Agencies and the 14 Districts Council Executives, ensuring effective service delivery nationwide.
