The National Young Congress of the All People’s Congress (APC), led by Ansu Bannard, has certified its Young Congress Leaders in the Western Area during a ceremony at the party’s National Headquarters on Monday, 1st September 2025.

The event drew senior party officials, grassroots supporters, and stakeholders, who gathered to honor the contributions of young leaders within the party structure. Certificates were issued to Constituency Young Congress Leaders representing the Western Urban, Rural, and East districts, alongside members of the National Young Congress Executive, Constituency Chairmen, and representatives from the media.

In recognition of their service and dedication to the APC, the Deputy National Chairman, Ambassador Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh, and the National Secretary General, Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya, received special awards. Their acknowledgment formed one of the high points of the ceremony, reflecting the party’s appreciation for leadership that has strengthened its base.

The certification process is part of a nationwide exercise by the APC Young Congress, aimed at formally recognizing its leaders at all levels.

With the Western Area stage concluded, the party noted that the initiative has now reached its penultimate phase, ahead of the final recognition of leaders across the country.
