The All Peoples Congress (APC) Scandinavian Sweden Branch have embarked on a revamp membership drive with several activities and a Barbeque/Grill Fiesta.

The essence was to revamp the good spirit of the general membership as a wake up call to start planning ahead of the 2023 general elections and to also bring in new members who are setting on the fence in terms of political decisions in our national politics.

The Acting Chairman, Comrade Philip Turay said they are also raising awareness about their monthly subscription scheme to the general membership and those who are not actively involved in social media discussions.

He said the reaching out to members since the COVID 19 has deprived their regular monthly physical meetings as a point to reschedule their normal meetings for better planning.

“We are planning to stage an end of year fundraising dinner and dance,  being that the COVID 19 restrictions in Sweden has been relaxed to allow average gathering of socialization,”   Comrade Philip Turay said.

Meanwhile, the acting Chairman Comrade Philip Turay and Organizing team,  spearheaded by Comrade Emmanuel Fucknah and his Deputy Comrade Alpha M. Marrah sponsored  90% of the budget to make the fiesta a successful event.

Meanwhile, the branch has also been able to bring back those members who have left the party in past general elections to joined NGC and reaffirm their commitment to return back to their root as APC members.
