Preparations are underway for the official launch of the Ady Macauley Movement, a new political and community-driven initiative that aligns with the All People’s Congress (APC) vision of promoting unity, development, and expanded opportunities for citizens across Sierra Leone.

The launch event, scheduled for 18 December 2025 at 12:00 p.m., will take place at Fourah Bay Field in Freetown. It will be held under the theme: “Building Bridges & Creating Opportunities for All.”

According to organisers, the Ady Macauley Movement seeks to advance inclusive growth by supporting community development efforts, youth empowerment programs, and initiatives aimed at fostering national progress. The movement also forms part of Ady Macauley’s broader political engagement ahead of the 2026 elections, highlighted by the campaign message #VoteAdy2026.

The event will feature keynote addresses, community-focused discussions, and interactive sessions where attendees can learn more about the movement’s objectives and explore avenues for participation. Supporters, community leaders, and members of the public are expected to attend in large numbers.

Organisers say the launch is open to everyone, emphasizing that the movement is committed to strengthening communities and contributing to a brighter, more prosperous Sierra Leone.
