Leading All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Ady Macauley, joined hundreds of enthusiastic sports fans at the Approved School Playing Field on October 29, 2025, where the Approved School Sports Promoters Association (ASSPA) hosted the 2025 Inter-Community League Trophy.
The atmosphere was electric as the Kanikay Community faced off against the Grassfield Community in a spirited semi-final qualifier, showcasing the energy, talent, and teamwork of Sierra Leone’s young athletes. The event highlighted the unifying power of sports in promoting community spirit and positive social values.

In his remarks, Macauley commended the organizers and participants, noting that sports play a vital role in nation-building. “Sports go beyond competition,” he said. “They teach discipline, teamwork, and resilience values that strengthen our youth and, by extension, our nation.”

He further underscored the importance of investing in youth and sports development, reiterating his vision to create more opportunities for young people to realize their full potential. “When we empower our youth, we empower the future of Sierra Leone,” he added.

Macauley’s participation at the event reinforced his long-standing commitment to youth empowerment, community growth, and national development core principles that continue to shape his leadership philosophy.
