Ady Macauley Graces Coronation of Imam Mustaphy Bundor as Chief Imam of Fourah Bay Mass Jammah

The leading APC flagbearer aspirant and former Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Ady Macauley, on October 12, 2025, graced the coronation ceremony of Imam Mustaphy Bundor, who was officially crowned as the Chief Imam of the Fourah Bay Mass Jammah at the historic Fourah Bay Masjid in Freetown.

The event attracted hundreds of worshippers, community elders, Islamic scholars, and dignitaries from across the city to witness the installation of Imam Bundor a respected cleric renowned for his humility, deep faith, and leadership within the Muslim community.

In his address, Macauley congratulated the new Chief Imam, describing his elevation as “a divine calling to serve with wisdom, peace, and compassion.” He underscored the importance of faith-based leadership in promoting national unity and moral transformation, noting that religious leaders play a crucial role in guiding citizens toward righteousness and accountability.

“Today’s coronation is not just a community event but a reaffirmation of our shared values of peace, unity, and service to humanity,” Macauley stated. “I pray that Allah continues to strengthen Imam Mustaphy Bundor with knowledge, patience, and courage as he leads the faithful.”

Community elders and Islamic leaders expressed appreciation for Macauley’s presence, describing it as a mark of respect for both the Fourah Bay community and the Muslim Ummah at large. They commended his humility and continued engagement with faith-based communities across Sierra Leone, offering prayers for his success in his leadership journey.

The ceremony concluded with prayers for national peace, progress, and unity, as well as blessings for both Imam Mustaphy Bundor and Ady Macauley in their respective callings to serve humanity and the country.
