Ambassador Ndomahina Sympathizes with Malians

His Excellency Ernest M. Ndomahina has sympathized with Malians abroad in China as he signed the book of condolence of the ex-President of Mali, Amadou Toumani Toure on Behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone, people and himself. The signing of book of condolence was done at the Mali Embassy in China.

Sympathizing with the Mali community in China Ambassador Ndomahina said Africa has lost three of its great past leaders this year, that were very instrumental in keeping together the Africa organizations that are working to keep the peace and stability of the continent.

Ambassador Ernest M. Ndomahina encouraged fellow Africans to always cherish the great work of our past leaders, adding that they were able to contribute towards what many Africans are enjoying now.

Amadou Toumani Toure was a Malian politician. He was the one who supervised Mali’s first multiparty elections as Chairman of the transitional government and he ended up became the second democratically elected president of Mali.

Toure’s life in many ways can be symbolized as the stop-start nature of democracy in west African country. His death was reported on the 10th of November 2020, it took place in Turkey.
