The Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Chernor Mamoud Jalloh, and the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Madam Jenneh Jabati, have been sworn in as members of the NASSIT Board of Trustees.

The ceremony was held on Friday, 11 September 2026, at the NASSIT headquarters on 32 Walpole Street in Freetown, marking the beginning of a new leadership phase for the Trust.

The solemn ceremony was administered by Solicitor Secretary Tejan Ahmed Israel Jah and witnessed by members of the NASSIT Board.

During their respective oaths, Jalloh and Jabati pledged to uphold the provisions of the NASSIT Act No. 5 of 2001 and to serve the people of Sierra Leone with integrity, dedication, transparency, and commitment to institutional reform.

The swearing-in is part of broader government efforts to strengthen public institutions and improve service delivery to citizens.

The ceremony concluded with a call for NASSIT staff to support the new leadership as it undertakes its responsibilities.
