The National Revenue Authority (NRA), in collaboration with Blue Ribbon Solutions SL Limited, has conducted training for regional staff of the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Country Planning on the Non-Tax Revenue (NTR) Mobile Payment Application at the Youyi Building in Freetown.
The training aimed to equip participants with practical skills to effectively use the digital platform, with live demonstrations provided to enhance understanding of the payment process. As part of the rollout, the NRA also handed over 14 tablets to the Ministry to support implementation across regional offices.

The devices were received by the Deputy Minister of Lands, Mrs. Phylis Kapu Kormoh, who was present at the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands, Mr. Abdulrahman M. Fofana, described the initiative as a significant step toward public sector digitalization. He encouraged staff to embrace the technology in order to improve service delivery and called for continued collaboration to ensure successful implementation.

Deputy Commissioner-General 1 of the NRA, Mrs. Ann-Marie Baby Harding, reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to working with the Ministry, stressing that digital solutions are key to improving efficiency, transparency, accountability, and convenience in revenue collection.
The Acting Professional Head of Lands, Mr. Tamba S. Dauda, commended the NTR Mobile Application for enhancing revenue verification and accountability, noting that it is a major improvement over previous manual systems.

The initiative forms part of the NRA’s ongoing efforts to leverage technology to strengthen revenue administration and improve public service delivery across government institutions.
