The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐, has officially presented ๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐๐ง ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ approved to officiate international matches in 2026.
The ceremony was held on Wednesday, 4 February, at the SLFA Headquarters in Kingtom, marking another significant step in the Associationโs ongoing efforts to strengthen match officiating and enhance Sierra Leoneโs presence on the global football stage.
The presentation followed FIFAโs publication of its list of international match officials for the year, which features five centre referees and five assistant referees from Sierra Leone. The selected officials include six men and four women, underscoring the SLFAโs continued commitment to gender inclusion and the development of female officiating in the country.
Addressing the officials, SLFA President Babadi Kamara congratulated them on their achievement and charged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and professionalism. He emphasized the importance of discipline, transparency, and excellence in officiating, noting that their conduct on the field reflects not only on themselves but also on the image of Sierra Leone football internationally.
