The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the commencement of the second registration and transfer period for the 2025/26 football season, which began on Monday, February 2, 2026.

According to the association, the transfer window is open to Premier League clubs in both the men’s and women’s categories and will run until March 2, 2026.

The SLFA urged all football clubs, players, licensed intermediaries, and other stakeholders to observe the official schedule and ensure that all transfer dealings and player registrations are completed within the approved timeframe.

The association warned that any player movement carried out outside the designated window will be considered invalid, stressing its commitment to enforcing regulations and improving professionalism within domestic football.

The current transfer period is expected to allow clubs to make strategic additions to their squads as the 2025/26 season progresses into its decisive phase.
