The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially opened registration for teams in the Western Area to participate in the 2025/26 edition of the SLFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) League.

The Western Area phase of the programme will cater to the following categories: U15 Boys and Girls, and U17 Boys and Girls. Interested teams can collect registration forms from the SLFA Secretariat starting Wednesday, December 10th through Friday, December 12th, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily. The venue for collection is the SLFA Secretariat.

Completed registration forms must be submitted no later than Monday, December 15th, 2025.

The SLFA noted that this Western Area registration marks the beginning of the national rollout of the Talent Development Scheme, with similar registration processes scheduled to follow in other regions. The initiative is designed to ensure inclusive participation and provide equal opportunities for the development of young football talents across Sierra Leone.

All eligible teams in the Western Area are encouraged to seize this opportunity to be part of a programme dedicated to identifying and nurturing the next generation of Sierra Leonean football stars.
