HIRING OF A CUSTOM CLEARING AND FORWARDING COMPANY FOR GIZ SIERRA LEONE

GIZ is an Institution of German Development Cooperation whose main mission is the implementation of projects and programs in the areas of economic and social development.
To facilitate the coordination, the management of human and financial resources of the various projects and programs, a GIZ office has been created in Sierra Leone whose mission is to serve as support for the various projects / programs in the common areas of financial management., human resources management, supplies and logistics.
To better carry out this mission, GIZ needs the services of aCustom Clearing and Forwarding Company.
2. PURPOSE
Through its projects and programs, GIZ wishes to recruit a reputable and experienced company that will provide Custom Clearing and Forwarding services for its projects in Sierra Leone.
3. REQUIRED ADMINISTRATIVE DOCUMENTS
Upon submission of the offers, the interested companies will be required to submit the administrative documents below.
• The service provider provides proof of good standing, commercial qualification, payment of taxes and social benefits: Tax Clearance certificate of NRA and NASSIT.
• The service provider is based and registered in Sierra Leone: Certificate of Business Registration and Council Certificate.
• Valid Clearing and forwarding agency license
• Staff members certification as customs clearing & forwardingagents by the Commissioner-General
• Proof of the deposit of the bond guarantee
• Proof of insurance
• The service provider(s) should have a minimum of three (3) year experience in the tasks outlined and in the targeted areas in Sierra Leone and show a wide understanding of the topic: A brief company profile and satisfactory certificates that holddetails of their experiences in delivering on similar tasks is required (Minimum contract values of 15,000 SLE)
• At least two (2) proofs of execution of contracts with exonerated international organizations (100% duty free)
• The service provider must have a minimum annual turnover of 40,000 SLE for the last three financial years (with evidence)
Failure to submit the required documents will lead to an offer exclusion.
4. REQUEST FOR TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested companies can request the tender documents by sending an email to giz-sierra-leone@giz.de not later than 28th ofJuly 2025, with subject “Cosoft 83493389_Request for tender documents Customs Clearing and Forwarding GIZ”
Failure to use the correct email subject for the request will lead to a request rejection.
