ISHA JOHANSEN gives powerful goodwill introductory speech as guest speaker in house of lords (UK) on the 16th June 2025 at the opening of the three-day prestigious (First Ladies of Africa impact and resilience summit 2025).

the former First Female Sierra Leone FA President and First Elected Female CAF executive who rose to Female Africa representative at FIFA Council in her second day address chaired by acclaimed former senior CNN Anchor and producer Stephanie Busari, spoke about the challenges of being a woman fighting corruption, and social reform in a male dominated by “using football as a tool for positive social change.”

Johansen’s recent pioneering gender empowerment initiative, football for reform in female correctional centres introducing coaching courses and facilities supported by CAF and FIFA in Africa has attracted global media attention.

At the end of the three-day flair summit 2025 bringing together influential figures from diverse sectors, Isha Johansen was presented the social impact award, in recognition of her philanthropic contribution in all walks of life predominantly youth and gender empowerment.

Her non-negotiable stance for good governance and integrity and power narrative spanning two decades in football governance is earning her global recognition.
