The administration of the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology (EBKUST) has officially announced the details of its upcoming graduation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The 6th graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 25th January 2025, at the Prof. Edwin J. J. Momoh Pavilion, located at the university’s Secretariat on the Magburaka Kono Highway.

In a public notice, the university administration outlined important information for all prospective graduands, including the payment of graduation fees, gown rental, and purchase options.

Graduation Fees:

Undergraduate students are required to pay LE 1,500.

Certificate students must pay LE 1,000.

Gowns: Graduands have the option to either rent or purchase their graduation gowns:

Rental: LE 800

Purchase: LE 1,000

The university emphasized that the distribution of gowns will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis, urging graduands to act promptly to secure their gowns.

Payment Instructions: All payments should be made to the EBKUST Social Services Account at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, with the following account details:

Graduands are required to submit their payment slips to the university’s administration no later than 17th January 2025.
