Jagaban Off to US...After Constructive Engagement in Sierra Leone

In a bid to infuse the opposition All Peoples Congress party (APC) with a renewed sense and f spirit and determination, a prominent political figure Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, alias, Jagaban, has embarked on a visit to Sierra Leone with the aim of revitalizing the opposition All Peoples Congress Party (APC). His primary objective was to ensure victory in future elections by fostering unity, strengthening party structures, and extending support to various communities.

During his visit, Jagaban held productive meetings with influential figures such as Dr. Samura Kamara, the opposition APC leader, and Her Worship Aki-Sawyerr, the Mayor of Freetown City.

These meetings focused on promoting peace, stability, and collaboration within the APC. Additionally, Jagaban met with Chairman Cole of the Western Rural District Council to discuss strategies for advancing the party.

Recognizing the significance of grassroots support, Jagaban made it a priority to connect with various grassroots groups across the country. This allowed him to understand their concerns and provide them with the necessary support. Notably, he fulfilled his promise by unveiling the new party office in Kenema and is currently working on completing the APC office in Kono, demonstrating his commitment to expanding the party’s presence.

Jagaban’s visit also showcased his philanthropic endeavors. He generously donated to fire victims in Kroo Bay, showcasing his compassion and willingness to assist those in need. Furthermore, he responded to the pleas of clergymen in Kono, Port Loko, and Yele Town by pledging to provide them with a monthly stipend to improve their living conditions.

In recognition of the vital role of women in society, Jagaban pledged to provide start-up capital to businesswomen in Yele Town and Port Loko. This initiative aims to empower women economically and promote gender equality within the party and the wider community.

Jagaban’s visit has injected new life into the APC, instilling a renewed sense of spirit and determination. Through his engagements with party leaders, grassroots groups, and philanthropic initiatives, Jagaban has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the party’s success and the well-being of the Sierra Leonean people.
