FAST-NET SL JOB ADVERT FOR IT TECHNICIANS

Job Description

FAST-NET SL is seeking to recruit IT Technicians to primarily install FTTX and wireless radio as well as supporting IT systems (NOC) and services at our domain. You will support the use of hardware, software and telecommunications in the organization, including providing high-level onsite and remote IT technical liaison, support and network administration to computer users across the full lifecycle of incidents and problems. You will also receive and resolve requests for support and providing where appropriate, some technical fault diagnosis, advice and guidance to our clients.

Our goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Install FTTX to clients
Advice on new initiatives to bring value to the organisation
Provide excellent IT-SUPPORT to our clients working from anywhere and in our offices
Be our representative in our IT support channels
Manage incoming requests and give personal and remote support on hardware and software problems to fellow employees
Maintain printers, meeting room technology and other IT related equipment in offices
Administration and support of the network operating center (NOC)
Collaborate closely with other teams to make sure FAST-NET SL goals are met
Participate in the onboarding (knowledge transfer) for new employees
On-call service will be included in the role according to FAST-NET SL On-call policy
Participate in some IT support improvement initiatives

A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Requirements:

CCNA
Certificate in ICT from a well-recognized institution
Training certificate of FTTX
Qualification /Certification in ICT related training with hands on.
An associate’s degree/degree in computer science or in relevant field of the ICT will be advantageous.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ICT technician backed by hands on experience
Knowledge of FTTX and cisco networking with certification
Experience working with office equipment, such as printers, copiers and scanners.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
