Today, Wednesday 6th April, 2022 all roads lead to the Prince of Wales (POW) Secondary School at Kingtom in Freetown.
The Prince of Wales (POW) derived its name following the visit of England’s Prince of Wales to Freetown, Sierra Leone ninety seven years ago.
POW’s 97th Anniversary will be full of pomp and pageantry with hundreds of proud and notable private and public figures that attended the POW in attendance amidst hundreds of current pupils.
A series of activities including speeches, drama and other thrilling activities meant to inspire the current crop of pupils and further inspire the POW Old Boys to do more for their Alma Mater will form part of the auspicious ceremony.
