REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AIDS TO NAVIGATION
PROCUREMENT NO: SLMA/ENV/RFP/2021/003

Sierra Leone Maritime Administration has allocated funds to ensure the Safety of Navigation in Sierra Leone territorial sea. Aids to Navigations guides to vessels at sea especially in treacherous or risky areas. The installation of Aids to Navigation requires professional expertise at all phases from survey, planning, installation to maintenance. Several factors must be considered, and in many situations, the scope will demand corporate effort between relevant Government agencies and interested parties.
Aids to Navigation are placed along coasts and navigable waters as guides to mark safe water and to assist mariners in determining their position in relation to land and hidden dangers. Each Aid to Navigation is used to provide specific information.
Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) is requesting expression of interest the installation and maintenance of Aids to Navigation. Expression should be in English.
Sealed expression with “Procurement No SLMA/ENV/RFP/2021/003: “Installation and Maintenance of Aids to Navigation” must be clearly written on the envelope and deposited at the Procurement Unit of Sierra Leone Maritime Administration.
The closing date and time of the expression of interest is on the Friday 20th August, 2021. At 12H00 and submission will be opened at the Sierra Leone Maritime Conference Hall on the 20th August, 2021at 12:10 pm.
- COMMERCIAL TERMS
Sierra Leone Maritime Administration is open to various forms of commercial arrangements.
Within the Expression of Interest, interested parties should include a high-level financial statement that evaluates a range of commercial models.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Sierra Leone Maritime Administration is particularly interested in engaging the services of a reputable Company with the reputable competence and experience in managing such Maritime Project.

- Case studies of previous projects, including key metrics
- Business Registration Certificate
- NRA Certificate
