The Sierra Leone Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education has extended their best wishes to the 164,378 candidates who are registered from 4,954 schools, across Sierra Leone for the National Primary School Examination – 2024.
The examination is scheduled to take place today 5th May 2024 at 310 centers across the country.
Sierra Leone’s National Primary School Examinations (NPSE) are high stakes standardized tests administered at the end of the Primary and Secondary school year to determine if students can move up to higher levels.
The NPSE is set by the National Examination Council, and it is compulsory for pupils intending to go to junior secondary school (JSS). Therefore, pupils must pass the NPSE with very good grades in order to gain admission into the junior secondary schools of their choice.
