Classical turn of events, representatives of the All Peoples Congress (APC) in the three-way Tripartite committee, have surprised compatriots with a letter directed to the Electoral Commission Sierra Leone (EC-SL) to seek clarifications on the results delivered by the country’s electoral chairman, Mohamed Kenewu Konneh to the committee, as Sierra Leoneans come to the end of the long-anticipated tripartite committee recommendation.

One thing is now clear, results announced by ECSL for the June 2023 election were fraudulent, concocted, and rigged to forcefully retain Julius Maada Bio at State House.

Dr. Keifala Marrah’s led team in a letter dated 10th June 2024 sought clarification on the analysis of the 2023 presidential elections announced by ECSL.
The APC Team revealed the letter came in the wake of the “ sluggish rate at which the ECSL released relevant documents and its refusal to submit other such vital information it labeled as “classified” to the Tripartite Committee. “

“APC side on the Committee at today’s plenary of 10 June 2024 was granted fiat by the Government side of the Committee, to write independently to seek clarifications from the Commission, which will inform the review process,” the APC revealed their letter to ECSL garnered consensus.

“Our analysis of these results, in comparison with other independently gathered data and data from previous elections, revealed several statistical inconsistencies and discrepancies, and raised major concerns that necessitate further clarifications,” the letter states, adding “the ECSL announced partial Presidential results representing 60% of polling stations on the 26th of June 2023”

APC pointed out that, “this partial result released, constituted 7,099 polling stations (Table 1 – we have also attached the original ECSL Table, dated 26 June 2023 for your review)”.
