Orange SL on Thursday 15th July 2021 handed over at their headquarters in Freetown cheques totalling one hundred and fifty million leone (Le 150m) to Ramadan Grand Winners at their headquarters in Freetown.
Mr. Abdoulye Dia The Chief of Marketing Officer of Orange Sierra Leone congratulated the four winners and encouraged them to continue using Orange Money.
Mabel Manson, the Public Relations Officer Orange SL calling those who have not joined orange Money to do so as there are many opportunities await them. She added that one winner Mohamed Barrie from Kenema is absent to collect his cheque and that his phone is being currently switched off therefore they are unable to reach him. She stated that that they waiting for three months for Mohamed Barrieās phone to switch on and they will give him his cheque. She added that in three months if the phone is still switch off, they will do another draw for another winner.
Alie Bangura, one of the winners thanked Orange SL for prize money. He said that since gradation, he has not secured any job, but now Orange SL has made him to get a new start.
Ibrahim Massaquoi, one of the winners applauded Orange SL for the 50 million Leones Cheque. He said that he deals in timber but the business is owned by his Boss, and now that Orange SL has awarded him with 50 million Leones his life has changed for good
James M. Coker, another winner thanked Orange SL for what he referred to as huge amount of money. He said he is a commercial driver and now he is going to buy a brand-new Bus for himself.
The fourth winner Mohamed Barrie in Kenema did not receive his Le 50m cheque beaus his phone remains switched off
