NPPA CEO Opens New “Barray” At Panderu

On the 15th May, 2022, the Chief Executive of the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA), Mr. Ibrahim Brima Swarray officially opened the newly constructed Panderu Tetewoma Community “Barray” at Kagbado Kambuima Section, Panderu Town, Ngowah Chiefdom, Kenema District.

The newly erected Tetewoma Community “Barray” is constructed by the Ibrahim Brima Swarray Foundation to serve as a centre where important issues related to the development of Panderu Community, and Ngowah Chiefdom at large are discussed.

The Section Chief of Kagbadu Kambuima Section, Mr. Albert Sandy thanked Mr Ibrahim Brima Swarray and the Ibrahim Brima Swarray Foundation for constructing such a beautiful “barray” which is going to be used as a center for the development of Panderu Community and Ngowah Chiefdom at large. Mr. Albert Sandy used the occasion to plead with indigenes of their chiefdom to replicate the footsteps of Ibrahim Brima Swarray and pointed out series of developments (hospital, secondary school, community centre etc) that the chiefdom is in dying need of.

In the speech of the Paramount Chief of Ngowah Chiefdom, Mr. Sadiq M. Kapuwa, he immensely thanked Mr. Ibrahim Brima Swarray for constructing the “barray” and undertaking series of other developmental projects in his home town; Ngowah Chiefdom, Kenema City, and other places in the country. He further pleaded with other appointees of Kenema City to follow the progressive footsteps of Ibrahim Brima Swarray. He climaxed his speech by promising to take up the complaints of his people with the different authorities responsible. 

The transformational Chief Executive, Mr Ibrahim Brima Swarray in his words asked the people of Ngowah Chiefdom to  thank His Excellency Julius Maada Bio and not him for the countless laudable developmental projects done by him in the chiefdom and elsewhere in the country. He further asked the people of Ngowah Chiefdom to continue to support His Excellency Julius Maada Bio by going out in their numbers to register when voting registration starts, and vote for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) come June, 2023. 

He reiterated that all he has done for his hometown are made possible because he was appointed by President Bio, and thus, he encouraged them to continue to support him (President Bio) for the continuous development of the  Ngowah Chiefdom, and Sierra Leone at large. 

In relation to the outcries of the people of Ngowah Chiefdom, Mr. Swarray promised that he will communicate their dissatisfactions to President Bio and see how they can address them effectively and efficiently.
