One of the most popular names in investment in Sierra Leone, Mack Investment, has bagged another prestigious award presented by Successful Leading Entrepreneurial Youths (Mano River Union Zonal Award).
The citation of the award reads: “For being hard- working, dedicated to businesses, creating durable job opportunities, paying taxes aimed at supporting the government in moving the economy forward.” Mack Investment has successfully supported young Sierra Leoneans by providing job opportunities as well as training and other support while paying tax in a timely manner to support the government’s development efforts.
Presenting the award, Managing Director of Rokel Commercial Bank, Dr. Walton Ekundayo Gilpin encouraged Chief Executive Officer Mack Investment Mahmoud Mackie to continue supporting young Sierra Leoneans “as you have pronounced to maintain a successful business and I urge you to create more jobs,” the RCBank MD said.
On the same day, his other business Mack Pharmacy won another award which was received by his wife, Lolita Mackie at an auspicious ceremony held at the Atlantic Hotel, Aberdeen in Freetown.
It could be recalled that over the years, Mack Investment has been supporting upcoming football clubs, assisting in community development projects, helping the old, needy and vulnerable and doling scholarships to deserving pupils and students among other interventions.
