Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally Graces Quranic Memorization Graduation as Keynote Speaker

The atmosphere was filled with joy and spirituality as 37 boys celebrated their remarkable achievement of completing the memorization of the Quran in a grand graduation ceremony.

The event, held at the Islamic Center in Freetown, was graced by Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally, who served as the keynote speaker.

The program, organized with the support of the Umma Welfare Trust, a renowned international Muslim philanthropic organization, marked a significant milestone in the lives of the young graduates.

The Organization is known for its multi-million-dollar investments in humanitarian projects globally, sponsored the Quranic memorization project as part of its mission to empower communities through Islamic education.In his keynote address, Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally commended the graduates for their dedication, discipline, and spiritual fortitude in achieving such a monumental feat. “Memorizing the Quran is not just a proof to your intellectual ability but a mark of your commitment to preserving the divine message.

You are the torchbearers of Islam, and your achievement will inspire generations,” he remarked.He further lauded the Ummah Welfare Trust for its consistent support in advancing Islamic education and facilitating the growth of young Muslims. “This initiative not only strengthens our faith but also builds a future rooted in knowledge, morality, and service to humanity,” Hon. Tarawally added.

The ceremony featured heartfelt recitations of Quranic verses by the graduates, reflecting their mastery and understanding of the sacred text. Parents, religious leaders, and community members who attended the event expressed their pride and admiration for the young scholars.

In his remarks, a representative of the Ummah Welfare Trust emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting Quranic education and empowering Muslim communities worldwide. “Education is at the core of our mission.

We believe that every child has the right to access quality Islamic education and the opportunity to memorize the Quran,” he stated.The graduates, ranging from ages 10 to 18, were presented with certificates and gifts to honor their dedication and accomplishment.
