. BACKGROUND
GIZ is an Institution of German Development Cooperation whose main mission is the implementation of projects and programs in the areas of economic and social development.
To facilitate the coordination, the management of human and financial resources of the various projects and programs, a GIZ office has been created in Sierra Leone whose mission is to serve as support for the various projects / programs in the common areas of financial management. human resources management, supplies and logistics.
The GIZ Offices located in 32D Wilkinson Road, Freetown, have currently around 40 end users; connected on LAN (Cables) 20 users on Wi-Fi access points, and the GIZ EPP Office located in 37 Fraser Street, Freetown, have currently around 30 end users; connected on LAN (Cables) 15 users on Wi-Fi access points The Internet connection might also be used for VoIP communication and videoconferences.
To better carry out this mission, GIZ needs the services of a service provider to provide Internet Service for its Country Office and EPP Project Office.
2. PURPOSE
The aim of this is to provide a framework for full TCP/IP Internet Service Provision for the GIZ Offices in Freetown. The service is expected to be highly stable and reliable, with overall uptime of not less than 99% per month.
- DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
- The service provider provides proof of good standing, commercial qualification, payment of taxes and social benefits: Tax Clearance certificate of NRA and NASSIT.
- The service provider is based and registered in Sierra Leone: Certificate of Business Registration and Council Certificate.
- The service provider(s) should have a minimum of three (3) year experience in the tasks outlined and in the targeted areas in Sierra Leone and show a wide understanding of the topic: A brief company profile that holds details of their experiences in delivering on similar tasks is required.
- SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Service providers should submit their “Expression of Interest” the email address SL_Quotation@giz.de not later than 28th November 2023, 5:00 PM local time, clearly tittle with “EOI PROVISION OF INTERNET SERVICE FOR GIZ COUNTRY OFFICE AND EPP PROJET OFFICE, FREETOWN” – “COSOFT NUMBER 83453967”
Only prequalified bidders will be contacted with detailed Terms of Reference and tender documentation for submission of technical and financial bids.
