Hon. Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis, former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, has demonstrated his commitment to education by donating $10,000 to Fourah Bay College (FBC). The funds are designated for the pavement and solarization of the campus, marking a significant step in enhancing the college’s infrastructure and sustainability efforts.

The donation was presented during a special ceremony unveiling the college’s newly constructed bus stop and upgraded entrance and exit gates.

The event, attended by faculty, students, and dignitaries, highlighted FBC’s continuous efforts to modernize its facilities to better serve its academic community.

Dr. Tunis, a respected political leader and philanthropist, expressed his dedication to improving educational environments in Sierra Leone.

In his address, he emphasized the importance of creating sustainable and student-friendly spaces to promote academic excellence and environmental responsibility.
