FBC Offers Second Chance at Special English Exam for Applicants to the Faculty of Communication, Media, and Information Studies

The University of Sierra Leone has notified prospective students of a one-off Special Examination in English for applicants to its Faculty of Communication, Media and Information Studies at Fourah Bay Collegein an official announcement released on November 5, 2024.

The examination is intended for eligible candidates who were unable to sit for the initial examination held earlier in the admission process.

The special examination, set for Saturday, November 9, 2024, will serve as an essential admission requirement for degree programs in Broadcast Journalism, Print Journalism, Development Communication, and Public Relations and Marketing Communications, as well as for the Diploma in Mass Communication.

The university has emphasised that only eligible applicants within these categories are invited to participate.The examination will take place on the Fourah Bay College campus, with applicants expected to assemble at the Faculty of Communication, Media and Information Studies Building at 8:00 a.m.

The test itself will commence promptly at 9:00 a.m. To ensure smooth identification and verification procedures, candidates must bring a valid national identification document, a printed color copy of their West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results, and a printout of their online application form.
