East End Lions Football Club has officially lodged a complaint with the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Referees Committee against Referee Rashid M. Conteh, citing biased and substandard officiating during their recent match against Bo Rangers on February 15, 2025, at the Southern Arena.

The club highlighted several contentious decisions by Referee Conteh, including a controversial penalty awarded to Bo Rangers shortly after halftime without clear justification, and a blatant penalty in favor of East End Lions FC that was ignored despite evident contact.

East End Lions FC expressed concerns over a recurring pattern of questionable officiating by Referee Conteh in their matches, particularly against Bo Rangers.

The club referenced a similar incident during a match officiated by Conteh on May 27, 2023, also at the Southern Arena.

Supporting their claims with video evidence and detailed reports, East End Lions FC has called for an independent investigation into Referee Conteh’s conduct and previous matches.

The club remains committed to fair play and has urged the SLFA to address the issue promptly to uphold the integrity of football in Sierra Leone.
