The Guinean government has allegedly declared Mr. Alimamy Bangura, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Guinea, persona non grata and ordered him to leave the country immediately.

This move comes amid a growing controversy surrounding a cocaine-related scandal involving prominent Sierra Leonean businessman Alhaji Bah.The decision to expel Ambassador Bangura has sparked confusion, particularly in light of conflicting statements from Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

While the government initially claimed that Ambassador Bangura was urgently summoned to provide a full account of the situation, the diplomatic incident has escalated with Guinea’s declaration.
