APC strong man and former Ambassador to South Korea, Omrie Golley has on Wednesday, 18th January 2023 visited the APC party office at Old Railway Line to present food and cash donations to the party’s grassroots.
The donations which included bags of rice and millions of Leones were handed over to the disability wing, women, youth and taskforce members frequenting the party office on a daily basis. Handing over the items, Ambassador Omrie Golley said he is once again stepping forward to help push the country’s development agenda as well contribute to ongoing efforts to unite the APC.
“We can only move forward together…I am also aware of the economic hardship most of you are going through and that is why I came to help in my own little way. I believe this will help cushion the burden for a few days…” he said.
Representatives from the beneficiary groups thanked the former Ambassador and wished him success in his future endeavours. A loud rendition of the party’s victory song climaxed the event.
