Ady Macauley Honoured with International Humanitarian Award at the Grounds of the British House of Lords- UK

Ady Macauley Esq, the leading contender for the All People’s Congress (APC) presidential candidacy and a renowned Sierra Leonean lawyer, has been honoured with an international humanitarian award at a ceremony held on the grounds of the prestigious House of Lords at West Minister Palace, London.

The award ceremony, held on Friday, February 28, 2025, recognized distinguished individuals for their outstanding contributions to human rights and humanitarian efforts. Macauley was honored alongside other notable figures, including Hon. Prof. Mthuli Ncube, Honorable Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr. Dennis Idahosa, Deputy Governor of Edo State Nigeria, Dr. Christopher William-Martin; FIML. CEO, Fly Elite Jets, High Chief Chukwudi N. Nnaji (Onwa Igwurube Eze Enugu State) CEO, Rowe Motor Oil Nigeria, President, 9th Holdings & 9th Integrated Energy etc.

Macauley’s recognition was attributed to his active promotion and protection of human rights in Sierra Leone. He has been a vocal advocate for justice, consistently championing the rights of citizens and marginalized communities. His work has earned him a place among the 100 voices globally advocating for human rights and social justice.

This prestigious award further cements Macauley’s influence both locally and internationally, reinforcing his commitment to justice, governance, and the rule of law. As he positions himself for a potential presidential bid under the APC, this recognition continue to bolster his reputation as a leader with a strong dedication to human rights and democratic principles.

In the presenting the awards to the Lawyer Ady Macauley, APC Presidential Hopeful, Dr. Gbola Adeleke, Former Mayor of Dacorum, United Kingdom, Executive Member of Advisory Board Council for Leaders Without Borders Development Centre revealed that The Top 100 Influential Global Voices is an annual initiative that seeks to identify and honour individuals whose voices have had a significant impact on the global community. 

The former Mayor furthered that the Leaders Without Borders Development Centre Top 100 Influential Global Voices is a prestigious list which aims to shine a spotlight on those whose words, actions, and ideas have resonated far and wide, shaping conversations, policies, and perceptions on a global scale.
