FIFA Governance Officials Supports SLFA Constitutional Review Process Ahead of Elections

FIFA, the governing body of world football, has supported the Sierra Leone Football Association Constitutional review process with two of its governance officials Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Mokhtar Harraz and Mohamed Khaled Amin Elshawarby to ensure alignment with FIFA’s governance standards as a way of SLFA improving it ways of governing local football.

The FIFA governance representatives played a crucial role in guiding the review process and Sierra Leone Football Association President (SLFA) Thomas Daddy Brima was briefed on the conclusion of the review Process.The implementation of the reviewed statute is now pending approval by SLFA’s Congress,

This review has been necessitated by the Obligation placed on all 209 members to ratify it statutes in accordance with the FIFA Standard statutes.

Sierra Leone Football Association will hold their next Elections in 2025. The significance of these elections extends beyond the presidency. Delegates will be tasked with deciding the composition of the Executive Committee of the Football Association.
The elections, will be held under a watchful eye with FIFA delegation monitoring, drawing significant attention from football enthusiasts and stakeholders.
As the day unfolds, the footballing community eagerly awaits the official elections dates that will determine the leadership of the local football governing body for the next four years.
