Following his appointment by His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio as Chairman, Board of Directors at NCRA (National Civil Registration Authority), Sorie Fofana yesterday appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments and the Public Service in Committee Room 1, House of Parliament.
The appointment of Sorie Fofana as Board Chairman at NCRA didnโt come as a surprise to many people as he recently diligently served as Board Chairman of the Sierra Leone Cable Limited (SALCAB) before its unbundling in December 2020.
Sorie Fofana was described by some members of the Committee as a fine gentleman and a consummate diplomat, adding that, they have no doubt in his ability to add value to NCRA as Chairman of the Board.
Sorie Fofana was accompanied to Parliament by a galaxy of veteran journalists, media practitioners, friends and family members who hailed President Bio for such a timely and laudable appointment.
